Facility Details

The facility spans 28,000 square feet and will feature ten indoor courts. The new space features 20-foot clear ceiling height with smooth and even flooring, ideal for premier regulation indoor courts. Amenities include a reception area, merchandise shop where you can also purchase drinks and snacks, locker room with showers, two lounge areas, a performance training section and multiple viewing locations.

Coaches

You’ll find Johan running the show at our new Norwell location along with six other coaches who you will be able to book lessons with, along with a fantastic group of folks helping us out at the front desk!

Johan du Randt

Hailing from Pearston, South Africa, Johan is a former tennis pro on the ATP Tour and six-time National Champion in platform tennis. Look out pickleball! He currently holds the highest DUPR rating in the Boston area. For the past 20 years he has been a teaching pro and most recently was Director of Racquet Sports at The Country Club in Brookline.

Don Alto

Originally from San Diego, Don Alto is a former professional Table Tennis player who played for the US Junior National Team. He is a 3x US Open Gold medalist, 5x US Nationals medalist, Canadian Junior Championships silver & bronze medalist, and Brazilian Youth Open Silver Medalist.

With over 6+ years of coaching professional table tennis and working with national team members, he has brought his experience to pickleball. He has now achieved 2 Amateur titles and is pursuing a career in professional pickleball.

Megan Bonnevie

Megan has been playing Pickleball since 2018, taught by her 80-year old father on Cape Cod where she grew up. Pickleball became a passion and obsession which led her to competing in tournaments, playing in leagues and recreationally. In addition to being a PCI Pickleball instructor, she also is a tennis pro and high school tennis coach. Her coaching philosophy is to increase players skills, including how to grip the paddle, shot selection and court coverage all while having fun playing the game.

Ethan Hall

Ethan Hall is an up and coming pickleball player and coach from Duxbury, Massachusetts. As an ex-collegiate tennis player and head tennis pro at The Ridge Club, a prominent country club on Cape Cod, Ethan seamlessly transitioned into the world of pickleball.

He holds a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) certification and has competed at the 4.5 and 5.0+ levels across New England.

Sandy Hayes

Sandy is a PPR Level 2 Certified Coach. For the last three years, she has run and developed the seasonal program at Seaside Pickleball in Scituate. She was introduced to pickleball and instantly became addicted to the sport. She uses her competitive experiences and coaching skills, combined with her love of teaching to constantly share growing knowledge and passion for pickleball.

Tony Innocenzi

Tony hails from Bridgewater and has been a pickleball instructor since 2018, helping individuals at all levels. His previous gigs have included teaching at Lakeville Tennis Club, Easton Recreation Department and Pickles in Hanover. Before he got into pickleball, Tony was the president of the South Shore Girls Travel Basketball program.

Liza O’Reilly

Liza is a Hingham resident who grew up playing tennis and competed for Carnegie-Mellon University. In 2018, she transitioned to pickleball and in Spring 2022 became a PPR Certified Pro when she began teaching with the Hingham Recreation Program. She enjoys coached play to improve technique while incorporating game strategy to help you understand how to make great plays.

Steve Pearson

A New Jersey native that moved to the South Shore MA area over 12 years ago. Steve is a consummate ‘educator’ that loves teaching at all levels, having worked as a professor at Rutgers University, Parks & Recreation tennis instructor, and coach for all of his children’s various sports endeavors. He was trained and certified as a pickleball instructor by PPA pro and current PPR managing director Sarah Ansboury. He also completed the USA Pickleball Youth Development program focusing on specific teaching methods for various age groups.
